Wesley has never really enjoyed diaper changes, and for the last several months he has either screamed, cried, or wiggled every time we put him on the changing table. Things just changed though. As long as he can read a book the whole time, he's happy! Sometimes I even have to sit on the bed next to his changing table and wait for him to finish. It sure beats the screaming and crying!
Stephanie...how smart you are to figure out that all it took was a book to keep Wesley calm, happy, and distracted during a diaper change! A book! His favorite thing! Randy and I would give him toys, the beloved cell phone, rattles, or stuffed bears, but all he probably wanted was a book to "read" himself!
