Wesley took his first trip to the Sacramento Zoo today! It was perfect weather and not too busy since we went in the morning. Wesley loved all the animals but did have to take a few snack breaks. He had so much fun that he fell asleep in Blake's arms as we walked back to the car to head home.
This was the expression on Wesley's face for most of the trip. He was fascinated by all the animals!

That was so fun. Wesley even roared at the lion. The lion was not impressed, as he lay sleeping on a rock. I thought it sounded scary though.

Sometime you guys should take him to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. I can just tell he'd love it! Especially all the new kid exhibits. He can pet the sea creatures!
