Fly Hunting

There was an annoying fly in the house today and Blake was determined to kill it. Blake also decided to teach Wesley a sign for fly (put your hands by your shoulders and wave rapidly), a sign that I'm pretty sure doesn't really exist because anyone who does it looks pretty silly. Wesley caught on right away though!

Wesley was also very serious about hunting down the fly. He would make the sign for fly, point to where he thought it might be, and then go search for it. Blake had to be there, hunting with Wesley the whole time too. The best part was when Blake would let Wesley ride on his back and they would hunt that way. So cute!

Well, Wesley searched all over the house today, multiple times. When Blake finally killed the fly this afternoon, the two of them made quite the ceremony about flushing it down the toilet. We're pretty sure Wesley didn't get it though because he kept hunting for the fly long after it was gone.
