Superhero Conversation

Wesley is very much into imaginative play lately, and he goes on many exciting "adventures" every day. Combine that imagination with a love of superheroes (which he pretty much only knows about from pictures on big boy underwear) and a conviction that Batman is really named Fatman, and you get the following conversation:

Oh, to have the imagination and energy of a 2 1/2 year old!!!

My cheeks hurt from smiling. That was very entertaining. Wesley has a vivid imagination. What a ham!

I hope Tough Guy eats vegetables too, or he could get pinned.

2-14-18

Ethan: "Happy Valentine's Day, Mommy!"

Mom: "Thank you! Will you be my Valentine today?"

Ethan: "No. I'm your son."

Wesley: "Well, yeah, Mommy. But it's okay because you'll still love me."

Mommy: "I'm sorry, but we don't have any cows in the front yard."
