Doing Dishes

Wesley isn't a big fan of helping me cook anymore. He used to love it, but not lately. Blake and Wesley usually wrestle while I'm making dinner, so that probably has something to do with it. Wrestling with "Tough Guy" definitely has priority over making dinner!

Oddly enough though, washing dishes has taken on a new appeal to Wesley. I have to rewash everything when he's done and usually mop up a pretty good-sized puddle, but I love having him in the kitchen with me and it's good training. So it's worth it!

That is the cutest thing ever. I should have let him wash all those dishes at the cabin. What was I thinking?! I'll know better next time. He is a handy guy to have around!

Ethan: "Happy Valentine's Day, Mommy!"

Mom: "Thank you! Will you be my Valentine today?"

Ethan: "No. I'm your son."

Mommy: "I'm sorry, but we don't have any cows in the front yard."
