V-Day Party at School

Wesley came home today with all kinds of loot from the Valentine's Day party at his school. He barely made it in the door before he started digging into his bag of cards and goodies!

In addition to just having other kids to trade valentines with, Wesley really has made some good friends at his school. It's so cute how they look out for each other too. If Wesley doesn't see me right away when I get there to pick him up, it doesn't take long before one friend is tugging at his shirt and saying, "Wesley, your mommy's here!" or another friend is leading me to where he's playing saying, "Wesley's over here!" Then when it's time to leave, it just makes my heart smile to hear them all calling goodbye to each other and waving. It's just too special!

  1. How endearing this story is. Having worked at a preschool for so long, I have observed friendships begin there, and continue all the way through elementary school and beyond. It DOES make your heart smile to watch this unfold, and at preschool, their love for each other is so genuine, and real. Those hugs are precious to watch.
