2 weeks ago, I spent a few days matching paint (which took way longer than it should have!) and then painting our ceiling in a couple spots. Definitely not fun, so no pictures of that. After all that work we needed some fun though, so Wesley and I got busy going on adventures! Too bad Daddy had to work. :(
We started with Fairytale Town in Sacramento. We had never been before, and it was fun to try something new.
Wesley walked the crooked mile...
Slid down from Owl's house...
Got very concerned about the map and whether or not we had seen everything...
And finished with a picnic lunch in the park.
Not a bad morning at all!
Later that week we headed to the California State Fair. What a production! There was so much to see and do!
Wesley loved playing in the "corn box" (instead of sand box--get it?!?!)...
Rode a few rides...
And practiced milking a cow...
We sure were worn out after that adventure! I don't know if the two of us have ever walked so much in one morning!
Then that weekend, Tante Natalie, Uncle Steve, and Tessa came for a visit. Wesley is SO in love with Tessa! He was pretty upset when he realized Tessa wasn't moving in with us. :)
Well, that's the recap from two weeks ago. Last week involved a vacation to Shaver Lake and this week it's back to school. Hopefully pictures of those two things will be coming soon. No promises though!
What a fun blog update. The reading of the map video was so darn cute, and the photos with adorable, little Tessa. Wesley is clearly thrilled with her. Wesley looks older to me. Especially next to Tessa! *sniff* He is soooo handsome!
ReplyDeleteWesley and that map...oh man...so funny!!!! He is such a cute boy. I loved watching him with Tessa. He is such a sweet little guy.
