Wesley wrapped up his swimming lessons last week, and it was a great experience! He practiced for half an hour each day for two weeks at a swim school here in town. They've been in business for over 40 years and are highly recommended by everyone in town, and now we know why! Wesley learned a lot and had a great time; he's already asking to go again next year!
On each Friday, the lesson ends with all the kids getting to jump off the diving board. The first week, Wesley was too nervous and happily sat on the step while everyone else jumped. Totally not surprised by his reaction! Wesley was ready to jump on the last day though. Here's a little video of him in action--jumping, swimming to the edge, and then heading over for his jelly bean (every lesson ends with the kids getting to pick a jelly bean--definitely a highlight!)
