Grilling and Gaming Weekend

Tante Natalie and Uncle Steve came up for the weekend to hang out and play with us.

Tante Natalie was already Wesley's favorite person as soon as he woke up from his nap on Saturday.

We barbecued Saturday night and it was all delicious! Good job, Blake!

Uncle Steve gave in and turned from sports to Caillou.

Wesley and Tante Natalie read a lot of books together.

Wesley was a hungry boy all weekend long. Here he is, desperate to get into his highchair so he can eat lunch.

We played a lot of fun board games, mostly while Wesley was sleeping. Here are some pictures of Tante Natalie showing Wesley how to play one of the games.

We finished the visit with some chocolate chip cookies. Tante Natalie was slipping chocolate chips to Wesley on the side. She is definitely on her way to being a favorite tante!

What a fun weekend! That's hilarious that Steve is watching Caillou with Wesley.

Stephanie, That grill is the best thing ever. Now Blake does half the cooking! Hahahahahaha! It's about time! That chicken looks yummy, by the way.

Ethan: "Happy Valentine's Day, Mommy!"

Mom: "Thank you! Will you be my Valentine today?"

Ethan: "No. I'm your son."

Mommy: "I'm sorry, but we don't have any cows in the front yard."
