Wesley couldn't get enough of "driving" my car this afternoon! Definitely not ready for a license yet, but he offered more than once to take me for a ride. He's pretty convinced he's big enough to drive already. When I told him he wasn't old enough yet, he tried to convince me that he's five. As if being five is old enough. Anyway...
This picture shows his pure joy at being in the driver's seat.

Then he decided to show off some skills.
Checking the rear view mirror...

And getting ready to "make it go."

This technique, however, is a little flawed. It's an accident just waiting to happen!

And a little video too...
Hey, that first picture is how many people look when they leave for a party, and the last picture is how they look coming home. Pretty scary. Speaking of scary, I think our smart, little Wesley knows how to start the car now. You'd better keep a close eye on him!!! Hahaha.
ReplyDeleteBrandon "drove" off our driveway once at Wesley's age, but a tree in the orchard stopped his fun. (That's what happened when daddy was in charge.)
Thankfully, it takes more than just pushing the button to turn the car on. Wesley needs much longer legs (and the keys) before he'll be able to turn anything on!
