Visit from Oma and Opa

Oma and Opa came up for a visit two weekends ago. I'm on Thanksgiving break now (yay!!!!) and finally have time to blog about it.

They came bearing donuts and a soccer ball, so the day was off to a good start, and it only got better from there! They kept Wesley fed and active all day long. I think that's why he looks half asleep in most of the pictures. :)

Opa also got in on Ethan's favorite game these days - chase! Ethan would only crawl for a second or two before turning around to make sure Opa was after him. They didn't cover much ground, but they had fun. The giggles proved it!

The picture above and below had potential to be really cute. Unfortunately, Wesley looks like he's about to pass out in both (soccer and ice cream will do that to you!) and Ethan looks like he's never seen Opa before in the second one. Still pretty cute photos though.

I got a kick out of your descriptions of Wesley and Ethan in these pics. So funny. Your folks look great! Donuts and a soccer ball were great ideas!

I'm with Sherry. Your descriptions kill me. That last picture with Ethan seeing Opa for the first time -- you even got a snort out of me! SOL! :)

Ethan: "Happy Valentine's Day, Mommy!"

Mom: "Thank you! Will you be my Valentine today?"

Ethan: "No. I'm your son."

Mommy: "I'm sorry, but we don't have any cows in the front yard."
