Our Little Talker

Wesley sure is a chatterbox lately! He picks up new words every day.

CHEESEBURGERS

I'm sure this has nothing to do with the father-son trips to In-N-Out when Mommy has late meetings!

Cheeseburgers is a handy word to know! Wow, Wesley says that very clearly! Hahahahaha. He is such a parrot! I notice that he can say just about anything, and quite clearly too. ...So watch it!

Randy said, "What the heck?" at our last visit, and Wesley, not missing a beat, repeated, "Heck!"

Aaaw! "I love you!" Teach him to say that often! So sweet!!!!! I taught Blake and Brandon those three easy words too. Some "men" never learn how to say that! Blessed is he, when those words come easy, and were taught early, from their mama's knee.

2-14-18

Ethan: "Happy Valentine's Day, Mommy!"

Mom: "Thank you! Will you be my Valentine today?"

Ethan: "No. I'm your son."

Ethan: "What's that?"

Mommy: "It's whipped cream. I'm going to put it on your pancakes." (It's Christmas break...whipped cream goes on everything, right?)

Ethan: "No, don't put it on pancakes. Put it on my tongue!"

Wesley: "Now you be responsible with these toys while I go finish my homework."

(Holly is his "girlfriend" at preschool. He is quite smitten by her!)

Wesley: "How about Spaghetti? I think that would be a good name because it can be for a boy or a girl. Don't you?"

Mommy: "That's a potato."
Wesley: "Oh."
Mommy: "You know what's made out of potatoes? French fries."

Wesley: "Well, when I'm a grandpa I'll be different because I'll have a lot of hair on my face."
Mommy: "You will?"
Wesley: "Well, yeah, Mommy. But it's okay because you'll still love me."

Wesley: "I have sleepies in my eyes."

(I think he's confusing Woodland with Riverdale!)
Mommy: "I'm sorry, but we don't have any cows in the front yard."
Wesley: "Baaaa?"
